Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. If the weather stops us sailing, you are not out of pocket.
Cancelling your booking
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your departure time, for any reason. We refund the full amount you paid.
Inside 24 hours, the booking is non-refundable. At that point the seat can no longer realistically be resold, and on a small boat every place counts. This also applies if you do not turn up, or arrive after the boat has left.
Changing your booking
If you want to move to a different date rather than cancel, emailalohaboattrips@gmail.com with your booking reference. More than 24 hours out we will move you to any date with space, free of charge. Inside 24 hours we will still try, but we cannot promise it.
If we cancel
Safety decides this, not the schedule. If the wind or the state of the sea means we should not sail, we will contact you as early as we can on the phone number or email address on your booking, and you can choose either a full refund or a place on another date.
Occasionally the sea is fine for sailing but not for a particular stop. In that case the trip runs with an adjusted route, as described in theterms and conditions, and it is not treated as a cancellation.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or payment method used to book. Once we release the refund it is usually with you within five to ten working days, depending on your bank.
Bookings made elsewhere
If you booked through a third party such as GetYourGuide or Viator rather than through this site, their cancellation terms apply and you will need to cancel through them.
