Aloha Boat TripsMaltaBook now

These terms apply to bookings made with Aloha Boat Trips throughalohaboattrips.com. By booking you accept them on behalf of everyone in your party.

Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us or from our booking system. Prices are per person in euro and include the guided trip and the equipment listed on the trip page. Food and additional drinks are not included.

Cancellations and changes

Cancellations are covered by our cancellation policy: free of charge more than 24 hours before departure, non-refundable inside 24 hours. If we cancel the trip you may choose a full refund or another date.

Arriving for the trip

Please arrive at the departure point at Ċirkewwa, Mellieħa in good time to check in and board. The boat leaves at the published time. If you arrive after it has left we cannot refund the booking, and we cannot hold departure for late arrivals without affecting everyone else on board.

The route may change

The itinerary is a plan, not a guarantee. The order of stops, the time spent at each, and whether we enter the caves depend on weather, sea state and conditions on the day. The skipper may change or drop any part of the route for safety or operational reasons. A trip that runs with an adjusted route is not a cancelled trip and is not refundable on that basis.

Safety and your behaviour on board

The skipper and crew are responsible for the safety of everyone on board, and their instructions must be followed at all times. We may refuse boarding to, or put ashore, anyone who is intoxicated, behaves in a way that puts themselves or others at risk, or refuses to follow safety instructions. No refund is due in those circumstances.

You swim at your own risk. Swimming happens at designated stops, when the skipper says it is safe, and within sight of the boat.

Suitability, health and children

The trip is not suitable for people prone to seasickness. Tell us before booking if anyone in your party has a medical condition, reduced mobility, or is pregnant, so we can advise honestly on whether the trip is appropriate. Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who remains responsible for them throughout.

Your belongings

Bring what you need and keep it with you. We cannot accept responsibility for personal property that is lost, damaged or gets wet on board, except where the loss is caused by our negligence.

Liability

We carry the insurance required to operate passenger trips in Maltese waters. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Maltese law. Beyond that, our liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Photography

We sometimes take photographs on board. If you would rather not appear in anything we publish, tell the crew on the day or email us, and we will leave you out.

Complaints

If something goes wrong, tell the crew at the time if you can — most things can be sorted out on the spot. Otherwise emailalohaboattrips@gmail.com and we will respond within five working days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and disputes fall to the Maltese courts. This does not affect the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when you booked.
